Barbie Kyagulanyi donates to teenage mothers at Kasana hospital

KAMPALA – Barbrah Itungo aka Barbie Kyagulanyi wife to NUP boss Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi has donated over whelming to teenage mothers at Kasana hospital in Luweero district. This generous act comes in a time when these teenage mothers most need it since the COVID-19 pandemic hit Uganda.

This was done through her community NGO Caring hearts Uganda with Luweero members of parliament they pulled off a huge donation of maternal health items to a good number of teenage mothers at Kasana hospital.

Among the items given to Kasana hospital by Barbie Kyagulanyi, and other health facilities around the district included delivery beds, mama kits, baby clothes, food, reusable sanitary pads among others. This gesture left very many young girls touched and so happy. As others were left wishing things could be made better daily.

According to Barbie, their goal is to challenge the accumulating numbers of teen mothers in Luweero by identifying and skilling them on how to survive through acquiring practical skills that can help them earn a living as it has always been with the different communities of Kampala.

This is also one of the major objectives of her Caring Hearts Uganda charity organisation.
