KAMPALA – All is not well with musician and songwriter Bruno K real name Bruno Kiggundu who is currently in a bitter verbal exchange with Black market Records CEO Cedric Singleton for trying to steal his song Nipe Love.
Bruno K who signed a music deal with Black market Records in May 2020 says Cedric reported a song of his with Nina Roz (Nipe Love) on YouTube and it was taken down because he claimed it was his.
However through his Facebook page, the super talented guitarist insists that he recorded the song in
2018 before joining the record label and paid for both it’s audio and video.
“The gentleman CEDRIC SINGLETON CEO Black Market Records is trying to steal what belongs to me and Nina Roz. He reported our song on YouTube and it was taken down claiming he owns it. I recorded this song in 2018 before I even started working with his label.” Bruno K started lamenting his ordeal. He added that, he fully financed everything for himself from the audio production.
“I paid the studio bill to 0 shillings so I don’t know what he is claiming because he funded nothing. We hustle to finance our music projects only to be robbed by people like Cedric” Bruno K concluded.
The singer is not the first artiste to have complaints about Black Market Records following artists like
Rabadaba who recently trashed the record label alleging that they shoot low budget music videos.
More so, rumor from our Spear Cops has it that, also has it that Nina Roz who is signed to the record label has already quit it.
