Its still pending business between EAGT organizers and Uganda’s Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira as the duo hasn’t yet been paid the prize money they scooped during the East Africa Got Talent ( EAGT) show in 2019.
Esther and Ezekiel participated and won the grand prize worth $50,000 for exhibiting their exceptional music talent in the 2019 edition of EAGT show that took place in Nairobi Kenya.
Unfortunately COVID-19 came around the corner pushing the world into a lockdown and the music industry at a stand still. But as the world returns to normal business, the duo has come out to claim their prize that they claim was never paid.
The duo vented their grievance over the same matter but were told that it would be dealt with but since it wasn’t. They have continued to demand for their money to be paid through a video on Facebook.
The two say they haven’t heard from the organizers of EAGT or even their managers concerning their prize money.
“Its two years now but we haven’t got our money from the previous East Africa Got Talent competition. Neither have we heard from our managers ,they haven’t called or said anything to us.”
There hasn’t yet been any communications from EAGT to the public or a press statement about the
matter but we shall update you when they do.
