Born on born on October 13, into a household in the suburbs of Kenya’s capital Nairobi, jaguar

songs with hit makers such as Nigeria’s Iyanya and South Africa’s Mafikizolo in ‘going nowhere.’
In 2011, the artist won awards as the Best Male East African artist and the best Male Kenyan
artist while the next year, 2012, he won an award for the best song in Kenya at the Kisima
awards, best male artist at the Pearl Music Awards in Uganda, Best song East Africa.
Kigeugeu at the Kilimanjaro Music Awards, Best Male Artiste East Africa at the Nzumari awards and
Channel O Music Video Awards Nominations (Africa) at which he won the Best Song in East Africa.
In 2014, MCSK awards awarded him as the highest Eatner in Royalties and most played artiste
alongside 5 awards from various Kenyan Radio stations while in 2014, he won an award for the
best song, Kipepeo at the Kilimanjaro Music Awards East Africa.
On 9th August 2017, Jaguar was under the Jubilee party elected to represent Starehe
constituency defeating Steve Mbogo, Boniface Mwangi and Mwaniki Kwenya following his
earlier victory over incumbent legislator Maina Kamanda in April 2017 to represent Jubilee
He was appointed by the President of Kenya H.E Uhuru Kenyatta as the Director of the National
Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA).
